Position OverviewJoin our flagship email team at team.blue! We are looking for a Senior Developer to enhance and extend the Roundcube Webmail, developing new features like AI-powered modules and plugins. This role is pivotal in shaping the group's flagship email platform and offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a highly experienced and motivated team, while enhancing and extending your expertise.

Role and Responsibilities
•Enhance the Roundcube Webmail, developing new features and plugins
•Work in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing to the integration of AI modules and other innovative solutions

•Ensure high-quality, maintainable codethrough testing, debugging, and problem-solving
•Work in a cross-functional team, promoting effective team-work and strong collaboration
•Adhere to best practices, coding standards, and security requirements

Required skills
•5+ years of experience in software development, with astrong emphasis on PHP programming.
•Good knowledge of the JavaScript language
•Extensive experience in developing and delivering high-quality systems
•Advanced understanding of object-oriented programmingprinciples (OOP, OOD, SOLID), algorithms, data structures,and design patterns.
•Solid hands-on experience in writing unit, integration andend-to-end tests
•Practical experience working in an Agile environment
•Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to profileand debug software systems

•Experience building software collaboratively using pull
requests and code reviews.
•Deep understanding of versioning control tools (git)
•Proficiency in Italian and English.

Nice to have skills
•Previous experience with Roundcube Webmail
•Good knowledge of the most common email protocols (IMAP,POP3, SMTP) and prior experience working on an emailplatform.
•Additional experience with Java is considered a plus
•Knowledge of service deployments using Dockercontainers and K8s is a welcomed addition.
•Good understanding of security and performance
considerations.
