Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of international codes is preferred.

Report to Deck construction superintendent , the E&I Supervisor is responsible for supervising all site electrical and instrumentation construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities in accordance with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements. The role ensures safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams tasks detailed as follows.

Supervision & Execution
  • Supervise installation, termination, glanding, and testing of:
  • LV/MV electrical systems, power distribution panels, transformers, lighting systems
  • Instrumentation systems including transmitters, control valves, and analyzers
  • Cabling: power, control, signal, and fiber optics
  • Oversee loop checking, continuity and insulation resistance tests, and function tests for E&I systems.
  • Verify installation as per drawings (P&IDs, SLDs, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, layouts).
Work Coordination
  • Coordinate daily construction activities with subcontractors, engineers, and QA/QC inspectors.
  • Monitor manpower allocation and ensure work progress aligns with project schedules.
  • Interface with vendors and commissioning teams for system handover and support.
Quality & Documentation
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, and standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, ISA, etc.).
  • Verify red-line markups, as-built drawings, and test records.
  • Participate in system walkdowns and punch list closure.
HSE Responsibilities
  • Enforce site safety procedures and ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, and HAZID practices.
  • Ensure proper PPE use, risk assessments, and safe working methods during high-voltage or hazardous area work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation equipment, installation standards, and international codes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Hands‑on supervision skills and problem‑solving abilities on site.
  • Experience with loop testing, function testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in MS Office, and completion systems (e.g., ICAPS, WinPCS).
  • Good communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited university.
  • Work experience of five (5) years in the sought discipline after earning the university degree.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience in total, with at least the last 35 years spent on offshore projects.
  • Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
