Company Description

Ansaldo Energia know-how covers all the most important technologies that make the energy transition possible: from turbomachinery to renewables, and from electro-generators to the new frontier of hydrogen.

Position

1. Dynamic Analysis: analysing the vibrational behaviour of rotating machinery (Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators) and structures.
2. Diagnostics: provide specialist support to the Diagnostic Centre for the fleet under Remote Monitoring contracts.
3. Commissioning: support start-up activities for the vibration analysis and balancing part. The activity is carried out remotely or with in-plant interventions where you are responsible for installing the acquisition systems, carrying out the analysis and balancing.
4. Field activity support: support Field Service on activities with an impact on rotating machine dynamics (Run Out and Alignment analysis).
5. RCA Support: contribute to the production of Root Cause Analyses, collaborating with the specialists of the different disciplines involved in the research and analysis of failure causes.
6. Factory Support: support Factory departments on activities impacting machine dynamics (Run Out analysis, Overspeed cell balancing).
7. Modal Analysis: carry out Impact Test and Modal Analysis in the Factory and in the plant.
8. Product Engineering Support: support Product Engineering departments in the development of upgrades and new models.

Requirements

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Preferred prerequisites: Master's degree with a focus on Design-Production, Experimental/Stage thesis in the field of dynamic analysis.
2. Aptitude for teamwork.
3. Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
4. Willingness to travel (up to 30%), even at short notice, in Italy and abroad.
