FAAC Technologies, world leader in access automation, parking systems and access control, counting on more than 53 sales companies in 29 countries, more than 3.700 employees worldwide and 18 manufacturing plants is looking for a DWH & Business Intelligence Developer.

The successful candidate will be part of our Data Governance & System Integration team with a focus on collecting, cleaning, analyzing and creating databases and data systems, ensuring data quality and reliability. The candidate should have an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

The position is based in our HQ in Zola Predosa (BO).

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems, ensuring data quality and reliability.
  • Interpret and transform complex datasets into clear and actionable reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Create effective visualizations and presentations to communicate analytical findings.
  • Optimize data collection and analysis processes, introducing continuous improvements.
  • Participate in solution design discussions, contributing recommendations on Business Intelligence requirements.
  • Develop datasets to support dashboards and reports, with an increasing level of autonomy.
  • Monitor production solutions to quickly identify potential issues and anomalies.
  • Analyze and correct production errors in collaboration with the team, with moderate support.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or similar roles.
  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) frameworks.
  • Excellent command of SQL for query writing and optimization.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI for creating dashboards and reports.
  • Proficiency in Talend Data Integration or equivalent ETL tools.
  • Experience integrating data via APIs and interfacing with external systems.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive and initiative-driven, with an innovative approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, interacting effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English to collaborate with international stakeholders and document technical processes.
  • Experience in managing Business Intelligence requests from stakeholders will be considered as a plus.
