Job Description Summary :

We are seeking a Due Diligence Manager to work within the Engineering Team, supporting Falck’s mergers and acquisitions worldwide. Projects range from development through to construction and operations. When not involved in M&A activities, the manager will support the broader Engineering Team in renewable project development.

  • Main Responsibilities :
  • Providing senior technical input and oversight in all aspects of the due diligence process, including technology reviews, energy yield assessments, permitting, layout compliance, site suitability, construction monitoring, and reporting.
  • Initiating, coordinating, and prioritizing the technical review process, and providing technical approval for projects.
  • Managing meetings with project vendors to gain early insights and providing feedback on initial information.
  • Identifying areas within reviews where additional value or optimization can be added.
  • Building strong relationships with the Mergers and Acquisition Team to support high-quality project reviews and acquisitions.
  • Leading strategic improvements in procedures, tools, and market trend interpretation.
  • Supporting engineering development activities within the existing project pipeline.
  • Preparing, managing, and submitting technical and commercial reports for internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements :

  • Over 5 years of experience conducting due diligence on utility-scale onshore wind, solar, and BESS projects.
  • Experience in Italy and Spain is preferred; UK experience is also desirable.
  • Fluency in English, Italian, and/or Spanish; French is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international team.
  • Pragmatic and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • Full clean driving license.

Studies and desirable skills include a degree in Engineering or a related field, experience in financial modeling, and knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards in renewable development projects.
