Job Description: DTC Controller (M/W) at Rossignol

Reporting to the Business Controlling Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Controlling & Direct-To-Consumer teams. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Leading budgets & forecasts processes in partnership with our business units, including P&L management across stores, e-commerce, marketplaces, and regions.
2. Preparing monthly reports, proposing journal entries, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and conducting month-end close tasks.
3. Analyzing reporting data during month-end close and budget/forecast processes to identify performance drivers.
4. Monitoring budget spend to ensure outcomes align with expectations, adjusting strategies for underperforming channels or stores.
5. Developing business plans and ROI KPIs for retail and marketplace openings.
6. Leading the 5-year DTC strategic planning process with top management.
7. Partnering with other finance functions like Accounting and Treasury to ensure compliance and alignment.
8. Collaborating with IT and other departments to automate business intelligence tools.
9. Providing financial guidance to business owners through proactive analysis.
10. Staying informed of market trends in the DTC space to inform budgeting and allocation strategies.
11. Performing other ad-hoc analysis and support as needed.

About you:

• Degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting.
• At least 3 years of progressive financial experience, particularly in e-commerce or retail.
• Proven initiative, process management, and continuous improvement skills.
• Knowledge of e-commerce and retail metrics and KPIs.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for understanding the 'why' behind the numbers.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• High integrity and ethical standards.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
