Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) invites reliable drivers to join a field data collection project across EU streets using 360 cameras mounted on a vehicle. You will follow predefined routes and ensure safety and accurate reporting while delivering high-quality images.

The assignment runs 3 to 6 months with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8 hours per day, and possible weekend work in poor weather conditions. Driving skills and a clean record are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver Licence.
• Good driving skills and clean driving record; good physical condition.
• Must be able to install the cameras on the roof of a vehicle (6 kg in weight and 1 metre in height).
• Great communication and reporting skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Available for a minimum of 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Data collectors will follow specific routes around public streets and areas, targeting commercial districts and historical sites to capture images.
• Work 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday; weekend work possible in bad weather.
• Operate and report using basic digital tools (Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, WhatsApp).

Project objective

The goal of the project is to help collect images of streets, main points of interest and public areas in the EU countries. The project is performed on cars with 360 removable cameras, that are mounted by the driver on top of the vehicle. Cameras image the area around the vehicle and store those images on computers inside the vehicle. Later, this data will be used to enhance one the most popular online maps in the world.

The data collectors will be given specific routes around public streets and areas, specifically targeting commercial districts and historical sites. Due to poor weather conditions some areas will be visited multiple times in order to collect the best quality of imaging. The project is expected to last from 3 to 6 months and will cover different data collection areas.

The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows well the area, traffic trends, is highly responsible and reliable.

The schedule expected on the project is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day 40 hours per week. Due to weather downtime, work on weekends is possible.

Requirements:
