A leading automotive company seeks a Flying Doctor to oversee technical quality issues across Italy. This role involves liaising with headquarters, delivering training, providing dealership support, and ensuring quality control in vehicle operations. The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree, significant experience in automotive technical roles, and excellent English communication skills. The Flying Doctor, reporting directly to the Technical Manager and working within the Service & Aftersales department, is responsible for overseeing technical quality issues across the Italian market. This role involves promptly liaising with the Chinese Headquarters to ensure the swift resolution of problems and the implementation of appropriate technical countermeasures.
Monitor the pre-delivery inspection of newly imported vehicles to detect any anomalies and coordinate corrective technical actions.
Deliver training to external personnel responsible for vehicle storage and pre-delivery operations at national hubs (Vercelli and Civitavecchia).
Provide technical support to the brand’s dealership network in response to product quality issues.
Act as a “flying technical doctor,” performing on-site visits to dealerships when second-level support is required for complex technical issues.
Provide technical opinions and support in legal cases, for example CTP.
Provide coaching for new dealers on service processes, with the aim of improving quality and repair performance.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronic or related fields.
At least 5-year proven experience and autonomy in a similar role within the Automotive sector.
Excellent command of English (written and spoken) for daily communication with Headquarters.
Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office Suite.
Attention to detail and good manual skills.
Availability of travelling in national territory.
