As a DIY Sales Representative, you will join our sales team and be responsible for providing a memorable service experience to customers and achieving channel-specific goals. You will also propose action plans to develop the DIY channel and support partners’ needs by guiding and recommending suitable sales offers. Reporting to the DIY Channel Manager, you will be the sole sales representative covering the DIY sales channel in the field.

Your Main Activities

  1. Consistently meet goals and targets set by management.
  2. Analyze competitor strategies and suggest action plans to increase market share within the DIY channel.
  3. Develop strong, sustainable relationships with key customers.
  4. Visit DIY stores across Italy regularly to deliver sales and product training.
  5. Promote and coordinate local marketing activities sponsored by VELUX or partners.
  6. Maintain reference files, sales promotions, and display corners to ensure an exceptional service experience.
  7. Address inquiries related to VELUX products and support customers with quotations.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a natural ability to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Positive, proactive, and self-motivated attitude.
  • Service-oriented approach focused on delivering excellent customer experience to sustain and grow sales.
  • Technical or economic diploma or degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the DIY environment.
  • Determination, goal-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • IT skills: Office-Excel and CRM software.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Willingness to travel across Italy, at least 80% of the time.
  • Preferred locations: Verona, Brescia, Vicenza, or Padova.
