Sales Representative – Enterprise (New Business)

JOB PURPOSE :
This role involves selling across ADP's Payroll and HR solutions, providing the infrastructure, presence, and brand for sales professionals to engage in global conversations with organizations. You will work with your sales leadership team to define your account strategy, focusing on Enterprise-level New Business Accounts based in Rome, Italy.
You will collaborate and coordinate with a team of experts and resources to identify and address client needs in an evolving landscape of people management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, develop, and maintain effective business relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the sales cycle with senior decision-makers, typically in Finance, HR/Payroll, or IT service areas.
- Identify prospective clients and sales opportunities within your market segment and successfully promote outsourcing solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Develop a solid understanding of ADP’s products and services.
- Research, qualify, and scope new business and revenue opportunities aligned with ADP’s strategic plan.
- Identify additional sales opportunities and promote ADP’s offerings through industry networking events.
- Be a self-starter and motivator, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and activity reports.
- Manage all prospect and client contacts and sales-related information within CRM tools like Salesforce.com.
- Describe features of ADP’s products and services and explain their benefits to prospective customers.
- Respond to Tender documents (RFI and RFP).
- Collaborate effectively with the implementation team to ensure timely client migration to ADP.
- Deliver board-level presentations demonstrating ADP’s solutions.
What we’re looking for :
- Minimum of 5-7 years of solution sales experience within the HCM, Payroll industry, and SaaS.
- Proven success in identifying, hunting, and closing new business.
- Experience in presenting and effective communication skills.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience in developing proposals and quotes.
- High integrity and business ethics.
- A structured approach to generate and manage new business opportunities (e.g., Challenger, MEDDPICC methodologies).
- Success in team selling environments.
- Effective use of CRM systems.
