Job Description:
Reporting to the Cheese Quality Assurance Manager, the responsibilities include:
- Providing training to the Sales Force, FAM, and Van Selling Managers on quality assurance specific practices through good practices, the self-control system - HACCP, and all preventive activities to ensure this important link in the distribution chain complies with current regulations and Lactalis Group and biG srl procedures;
- Conducting periodic audits of commercial structures to verify correct application of assigned activities;
- Collaborating and interfacing with control bodies (Veterinarians/territorial ATS) for updates on regulations to implement and, if necessary, during audits;
- Ensuring the proper functioning of equipment at commercial structures, such as temperature probes, through regular checks and calibration; conducting systematic traceability tests in Van Selling and recall simulation tests as per company quality standards;
- Preparing activity reports regularly and sharing with Van Selling managers to maintain a close and active relationship aimed at consolidating and improving specific quality practices;
- Supporting certification activities impacting the Van Selling channel.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Food Science and Technologies, Agricultural Sciences, or equivalent;
- Excellent knowledge of Office suite and main technological tools;
- Excellent knowledge of English; knowledge of French is a plus;
- Strong interpersonal skills and team working attitude;
- Autonomy, proactivity, curiosity, and flexibility;
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
KEY INFORMATION ABOUT THE POSITION
- Work location: Corteolona e Genzone (PV);
- Willingness to travel frequently within Italy required.
