Job Description:

Experience of migration of Fisher & Porter System Six to ABB 800xA DCS is preferred.

• Technical proficiency in control systems. Thorough understanding of Batch s88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units, etc.).
• Proficiency in ABB 800 XA DCS across different industries.
• Design, program, implement, test, and document ABB 800 XA DCS systems.
• Experience with controllers, networking, and I/O modules.
• Knowledge of electronic marshalling, IO cards, power carriers.
• Communication protocols – OPC, Ethernet, Profibus, HART, Modbus, AS-Interface, DeviceNet, etc.
• Integration with third-party systems.
• Software skills – configuration software, building control strategies, process and control screens, recipes, database administration.
• Development of control strategies according to SDS, and designing screens, faceplates, and trends for real-time and historical data.
• Design of process, alarm, and event reports.
• Software FAT, integrated FAT, start-up, and site commissioning.
• Startup and commissioning activities.

Qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, or Computer Science.
• 5-8 years of industry experience in implementing ABB DCS 800XA, preferably in the Life Science domain.
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented, multicultural environment.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environments.
