Dishwasher/Janitor

Overview

Parkwest Casino is looking for an experienced Dishwasher/Janitor. This position will consist of dish washing and janitorial duties. This person must work well with others, must be punctual and maintain a clean environment. The Dishwasher/Janitor is vital to the front and back of the house operations by ensuring the cleanliness of the property. Responsibilities

As a Dishwasher:

1. A successful dishwasher thrives in a fast paced environment with minimal down time and supervision.
2. Dishwashers are responsible for cleanliness around the facility if a Janitor is not on duty.
3. As dishwasher you will learn and understand how to properly wash possible hazardous items (example: knives) before working first shift.
4. The dishwasher should have the ability to work with a team and portray an upbeat, professional demeanor during shift.
5. Ability to promote positive interactions with guests through sincere greeting and communications.

As a Janitor:

1. A successful janitor thrives in a fast paced environment with minimal down time and supervision.
2. Janitors are responsible for the daily cleaning of casino property.
3. Janitors should have the ability to work with a team and portray an upbeat attitude during shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Open availability. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
• The team member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The team member is also required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The team member must stand and move through all areas of the casino and facility. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work environment noise level is usually moderate to loud. Team member must be able to work in an intense and loud environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform the required job duties.
• Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

Min: USD $16.50/Hr.
Max: USD $18.50/Hr.
