We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join the R&D team in a medical devices company focused on innovations.

You’ll be part of a primary international company as a member of our young and dynamic engineering team, contributing to the design of cutting-edge products.

To be successful in this position, you should have hands-on experience using CAD software with a strong personal attitude toward innovations.

Responsibilities

1. 3D Design of new products in the medical devices field
2. Craft models and drawings of products using CAD
3. Research on new ideas and methods
4. Review and enhance 3D designs for existing products
5. Ensure compliance with the company’s safety standards
6. Ensure products are user- and environment-friendly
7. Manage relations with suppliers to realize prototypes with the most recent additive manufacturing technologies
8. Analyze prototype data and retest if needed
9. Research new product ideas
10. Manage documentation of both new and revised 3D designs
11. Assess quality control on components and prepare checklists
12. Innovate with creative design solutions to problems
13. Report to R&D Manager and collaborate with internal teams such as Project managers, Technical experts, Marketing & Communication, Production, and Supply Chain teams
14. Coordinate externally with sub-contractors and other group entities' marketing, sales, and communication teams

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Design Engineer
• Proven extensive experience using CAD software; knowledge of Siemens NX is a plus
• Good understanding of safety standards and environmental and ergonomic impacts of design
• Basic knowledge of designing injection molds for techno-polymers and elastomers
• Ability to present in front of managers
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
