AniCura in Italy offers two 1-year internship positions in small animal veterinary diagnostic imaging with rotations in all imaging modalities. The internship is supervised by a group of radiologists, and the programme director is Swan Specchi.

The position starts January 2027 with an application deadline of October 9, 2026. Funding is provided by AIS, with a three-year commitment to work full time after residency training.

Competenze

• Must be a veterinary school graduate approved by the EAVEE.
• Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Italy.
• Must have satisfactory moral and ethical standing.
• Must have completed at least one year in a rotational internship or two years of practice.
• English working knowledge is recommended; Italian knowledge is not required.

We are offering two positions for 1-year internship programme in small animal veterinary diagnostic imaging with rotation in all imaging modalities. Facility includes 128-slice CT, 1.5 T MRI, two ultrasound rooms, digital radiography and digital fluoroscopy, in a modern working environment with a varied caseload and excellent multidisciplinary support.

The internship are supervised by a group of radiologists, the programme director is Swan Specchi.

The position will be available from January 2027 and the application closing date is October 9th, 2026.

Minimum qualifications for entry into internship programme

• Must be a graduate from a veterinary school that has been approved by the European Association of Veterinary Education Establishments (EAVEE).
• Must be registered/licensed to practice veterinary medicine and surgery in Italy.
• Must have a satisfactory moral and ethical standing in the profession and the community.
• Must have completed a minimum of one year in a recognized general clinical training programme (rotational internship) or satisfactory veterinary practice equivalent for a minimum of two years.
• A working knowledge of English is strongly recommended, and knowledge of Italian is not necessary.

Candidates are expected to provide a letter of intention, a complete resume and two reference letters. A personal interview will be performed on a short list of selected candidates.

These positions are sponsored by Antech Imaging Services (AIS). Funding is provided to the clinic by AIS for the cost of the resident position with a three years commitment to work full time for AIS upon completion of residency training and achievement of diplomate status.
