Job summary

AniCura Italia invites applications for two discipline-specific interns in diagnostic imaging (BO). The 1-year program includes rotation through CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiography and fluoroscopy in a modern practice with multidisciplinary support.

Interns are supervised by radiology specialists; funding is provided by AIS, with a three-year commitment to work for AIS after residency and diplomate status.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from a veterinary school that has been approved by the European Association of Veterinary Education Establishments (EAVEE).
• Must be registered/licensed to practice veterinary medicine and surgery in Italy.
• Must have a satisfactory moral and ethical standing in the profession and the community.
• Must have completed a minimum of one year in a recognized general clinical training programme (rotational internship) or satisfactory veterinary practice equivalent for a minimum of two years.
• A working knowledge of English is strongly recommended, and knowledge of Italian is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 1-year internship program in veterinary diagnostic imaging with rotation across all imaging modalities.
• Internship is supervised by radiology specialists; program director is Swan Specchi.
• AIS funds the residency with a three-year commitment to work full time for AIS upon completion of residency training and achievement of diplomate status.
• The position will be available from January 2027 and the application closing date is October 9th, 2026.
