We are seeking a Construction Site Director for a leading client operating across Sicily in infrastructure projects, based in Catania.

The selected candidate will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets, and coordinating operational phases to optimize resource efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

• Project Management and Monitoring: Supervise all project phases, ensuring compliance with timelines, costs, and quality standards as per contractual agreements. Collaborate with the Project Manager to define and monitor budgets, work schedules, and technical-economic management. Implement corrective actions to optimize costs and operational efficiency.
• Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the project complies with quality standards and legal requirements. Maintain safety protocols, environmental standards, and legality procedures, taking necessary delegations.
• Suppliers and Subcontractors Management: Support procurement in supplier selection and management, providing technical input. Monitor subcontractor performance, evaluate periodically, and ensure adherence to company standards. Oversee logistics, delivery times, and material conformity.
• Resource Coordination and Management: Effectively manage personnel involved in the project, fostering internal communication and policy compliance. Collaborate with the management control team for economic data analysis.
• Procurement and Planning Support: Prepare detailed requests for quotations, ensuring all technical elements are included for negotiations. Monitor procurement activities according to the established plan, supporting supply chain management.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Civil or Building Engineering.
• Experience in similar roles, preferably in infrastructure or roadworks.
• Proficiency in common software (Word, Excel, Adobe).
• Knowledge of industry-specific software (AutoCAD, MS Project, Primus, etc.).
