We Hunt, on behalf of an important client based in Catania operating throughout Sicily in infrastructure works, is seeking a Site Manager.

The resource, reporting to the Project Manager, will be responsible for overseeing the execution of the project, ensuring adherence to the work schedule and budget, and coordinating and controlling the various operational phases to optimize resource effectiveness and efficiency.

Main responsibilities:

1. Management and monitoring of the project: Supervise all phases of the project, ensuring compliance with timelines, costs, and quality standards required by the contract.
2. Collaborate with the Project Manager to define and monitor the budget, work schedule, and technical-economic management of the project.
3. Implement corrective actions to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.

Quality, safety, and regulatory compliance:

1. Ensure the project complies with quality and regulatory standards.
2. Guarantee adherence to safety, environmental, and legality protocols, taking on related responsibilities and delegations.

Supplier and subcontractor management:

1. Support the Purchasing department in selecting and managing suppliers, providing technical input to identify the best partners.
2. Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring periodic evaluation and compliance with company standards.
3. Supervise logistics activities, verifying delivery times, quantities, and conformity of received materials.

Coordination and resource management:

1. Ensure effective management of personnel involved in the project, fostering internal communication and respecting company policies.
2. Collaborate with the management control team for data collection and analysis of project economic data.

Procurement and planning support:

1. Prepare detailed requests for proposals, ensuring they contain all necessary technical elements for negotiations with suppliers.
2. Ensure proper monitoring of procurement according to the established plan, supporting functions involved in supply chain management.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Civil or Building Engineering;
• Experience in similar roles;
• Proficiency in main software (Word, Excel, Adobe);
• Experience with industry-specific software (AutoCAD, Project, Primus, etc.);
• Previous experience in infrastructure and/or road works.

Positions are considered across all of Sicily.
