Position: Director Sales, Iberia and Middle East

The Director Sales for Iberia and Middle East oversees operations in Spain, Portugal, and Middle Eastern countries.

In Iberia, you will manage the Partner Sales Manager and all Partners in the region. As Sales Director, you will establish direct sales channels within these territories.

This role reports directly to the VP Sales Europe South.

The territories require strategic development to expand our footprint with large clients, identify new partnerships, and grow key accounts. A balanced approach between direct and indirect sales is essential.

Your daily tasks include:

  • Overseeing all sales activities in the region, including new business acquisition and existing account growth
  • Driving sales excellence and day-to-day execution
  • Achieving and surpassing sales targets through effective sales behaviors
  • Managing forecasting processes and sales rhythms
  • Developing strategic Go-To-Market plans in coordination with Presales, Marketing, and Partnerships

Candidate profile:

  • Multiple years of senior sales leadership experience, with exposure to direct and indirect sales channels
  • Deep understanding of licensing models: perpetual, subscription, maintenance
  • Experience in transitioning organizations through business model changes
  • Proven ability to manage multicultural, diverse sales regions for tech companies
  • Leadership by example, team engagement, understanding team challenges
  • Experience in cross-selling initiatives
  • Assertiveness, success-driven mindset
  • Strong contract negotiation skills with a business-oriented approach
  • Focus on performance culture
  • Structured, autonomous working style
  • Fluent in English; additional regional languages are a plus
