We have an opportunity for a Director, Regional Sales - Southern Europe to manage our sales team in Southern Europe (SEUR), reporting to the VP of Sales for EMEA. In this role, you will own the SEUR territory across France, Spain, Italy, and the surrounding region, and lead a sales team focused on new logo and upsell opportunities. Working collaboratively with solution architects, the Channel team, Marketing, and Professional Services, you will have the opportunity to help customers capitalize on the potential of Infoblox’s Cloud-first networking and security solutions.   • What you’ll do
  • Increase sales and revenue by providing strategic direction and day-to-day management of the team in Southern Europe, inspiring them to success
  • Drive an exceptional sales strategy and develop strategic account planning initiatives to penetrate markets and achieve sales goals
  • Ensure business objectives and financial targets are met on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including quota uplift, billed, and building of strategic business partner relationships
  • Manage current customers and grow revenues aggressively in the installed base, executing tactical sales plans for current and new opportunities with all products
  • Develop sales and support strategies, techniques, and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment in order to meet corporate goals
  • Align with Marketing to develop relevant and industry-specific marketing materials, including brand positioning and trade show representation
  • Develop short- and long-term market forecasts for the Southern Europe region through market analysis and interpretation of data
  • Drive execution of the sales processes and work with other sales leaders to develop partner programs that can be leveraged across the channel
  • Implement and leverage current tools for sales and operational training to enhance the team’s efficiency and success
  • Drive an integrated sales strategy by creating alignment among sales, inside sales, marketing, and channel teams
  • What you’ll bring
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, both direct and through channel partners, and the ability to develop teams and businesses to new levels
  • Experience in sales, channel sales, and sales management within a SaaS or security company is preferred
  • Inspirational and passionate leadership style and the ability to draw on personal experience and get directly involved in the process / cycle to support and manage the team when closing complex sales
  • Strong market knowledge in the tech industry and experience selling complex solutions to sophisticated enterprise clients
  • Proven ability to recruit and develop channel partners and drive direct sales opportunities to grow the business
  • Process orientation with strong experience drafting and communicating sales plans that effectively motivate sales teams, coupled with expertise in leading and developing sales operations functions
  • Technical aptitude and a strong understanding of products and the competitive landscape in the computer networking industry
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
  • Extremely detail-oriented with a high degree of motivation, creativity, and initiative

What success looks like

  • Lead the SEUR team from the front
  • Build trusted and strong relationships with other leaders across EMEA and with our channel network and internal stakeholders
  • Be confident in communicating our value proposition

After about a year, you will

  • Lead the expansion of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers
  • Lead your team to deliver consistent quarterly results of pipeline generation and quota attainment
  • Build a team with a growth mindset and help them to move forward for continued commercial and career success
