Vision

The Director of Sales & Marketing of Thompson Rome will lead a luxury lifestyle vision, emphasizing Hyatt ideals and Thompson Vision.

Thompson Rome

The hotel offers a prime location in Rome with 69 elegantly designed rooms, local materials, and views of the city. It embodies a lifestyle concept combined with Italian hospitality, Hyatt values, and tradition.

The DOSM will oversee sales strategy, instill Hyatt ideals, and ensure service excellence.

  • Manage key accounts
  • Lead and surpass stay/ADR targets with Revenue Department
  • Promote Thompson's luxury lifestyle
  • Maintain knowledge of the group's business portfolio
  • Support strategic planning and budgeting
  • Create sales action plans quarterly and annually
  • Collaborate on strategy development with management
  • Plan and execute sales missions in key markets

Requirements for the position

  • Minimum 5 years in hospitality
  • Bachelor's in economics
  • Experience in luxury sales leadership
  • Proven ability in luxury sales environments
  • Knowledge of partners, events, and tradeshows
  • Previous Director of Sales & Marketing or similar role
  • Pre-opening experience is a plus
  • Understanding of local and luxury markets
  • Budget management skills
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities
