Vision: The Director of Sales & Marketing of Thompson Rome will lead a luxury lifestyle vision, emphasizing Hyatt ideals and Thompson Vision.

THOMPSON ROME: The Thompson Rome is the perfect gateway to the vibrant heart of the Eternal City. Our hotel's prime location makes it easy to explore iconic landmarks and discover the city's hidden gems. With 69 elegantly designed rooms featuring local materials and cozy wooden floors, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of Rome from their windows. The pure concept of Lifestyle combines Italian hospitality: Hyatt values and Italian tradition.

Role Description: The DOSM at Thompson Rome will be responsible for all sales strategies and for instilling Hyatt ideals in employees, ensuring service excellence that meets company standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage key accounts of existing customers.
  2. Lead and surpass stay/ADR targets in coordination with the Revenue Department.
  3. Promote the luxury lifestyle concept aligned with Thompson's culture.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the group's business portfolio, including history, operations, services, and amenities, to support ongoing promotion.
  5. Develop, support, and participate in strategic planning and assist in budget creation by business division.
  6. Create targeted sales action plans quarterly and annually.
  7. Collaborate with centralized management to align strategies and tactics for business growth and revenue maximization.
  8. Plan and execute sales missions in key markets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in economics or related field.
  • Proven sales leadership in luxury lifestyle products.
  • Experience in opening and operating luxury establishments.
  • Good knowledge of partners, events, and tradeshows to drive demand from target markets.
  • Previous experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing or similar role.
  • Pre-opening experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the local and luxury markets is essential.
  • Budget management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
