Vision

The Director of Sales & Marketing of Thompson Rome will lead a luxury lifestyle vision, emphasizing Hyatt ideals and the Thompson brand vision.

THOMPSON ROME

The Thompson Rome is a prime gateway to the vibrant heart of the Eternal City. Our hotel features 69 elegantly designed rooms with local materials and cozy wooden floors, offering breathtaking views of Rome. Combining the lifestyle concept with Italian hospitality, Hyatt values, and Italian tradition.

The DOSM at Thompson Rome will oversee all sales strategies, ensuring Hyatt standards and instilling Hyatt ideals in staff.

  • Manage key accounts of existing customers
  • Lead and surpass stay/ADR targets in collaboration with the Revenue Department
  • Promote the luxury lifestyle concept aligned with Thompson's culture
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the group's business portfolio to support ongoing promotion
  • Support strategic planning and budget creation by business division
  • Create targeted sales action plans quarterly and annually
  • Collaborate with central management to develop strategies for business growth and revenue maximization
  • Plan and execute sales missions in key markets
Requirements for the position
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry
  • Bachelor's degree in economics
  • Experience in sales leadership for luxury lifestyle products
  • Proven luxury sales ability in both opening and operating environments
  • Strong knowledge of partners, events, and tradeshows to generate demand from target markets
  • Previous experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing or similar role
  • Pre-opening experience is advantageous
  • Understanding of the local and luxury markets is essential
  • Budget management skills
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities
