Position Overview:

The Director of Rooms at W Rome will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's rooms division, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage a diverse team, optimize room revenue, and uphold the hotel's reputation for luxury and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership: Lead and inspire the rooms division team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
2. Guest Experience: Ensure all guests receive personalized and memorable experiences, from check-in to check-out.
3. Operational Management: Oversee housekeeping, front desk, and guest services operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to brand standards.
4. Revenue Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy rates.
5. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation across all rooms and public areas.
6. Budget Management: Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
7. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members, promoting career growth and skill enhancement.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Food & Beverage, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
4. Proven track record in revenue management and operational excellence.
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
6. Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
