Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies. With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their "waste" into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods.
Sedron is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Marketing to lead efforts that elevate our external brand, drive commercial growth in multiple sectors, and strengthen internal engagement through recruitment, retention, and employer branding. This role does not currently include direct reports, but requires confident leadership and coordination across internal teams, external stakeholders, and creative vendors.
You’ll shape how Sedron shows up to the world—from digital presence to in-person industry events—while also helping us attract and retain top talent by telling a compelling internal story.
Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports brand growth, industry partnerships, and internal culture-building.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, business development, and HR to align messaging across company milestones and campaigns.
- Oversee marketing initiatives with external stakeholders, especially in the agriculture and nutrient upcyclingsector.
- Collaborate with external agricultural partners to co-create outreach strategies and market positioning.
- OwnSedron’s brand voice and messaging across all channels—web, social, print, and partner-facing materials.
- Lead creation of compelling content, including technical case studies, press releases, product collateral, and visual storytelling.
- Maintain consistency in visual identity and tone across external and internal audiences.
- Partner with HR to develop and execute campaigns that supporttalent acquisition, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.
- Help craft internal communications, spotlight programs, and brand-aligned recruiting materials.
- StrengthenSedron’s employer brand across job boards, career sites, and social media.
- Manage all marketing touchpoints, including digital, trade show presence, and partner materials.
- Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and internal teams to produce quality content and campaigns.
- Track performance of marketing efforts and adjust strategy based on insights and KPIs.
- Represent Sedron at key events, conferences, and stakeholder presentations.
- Conduct market research to inform messaging, content development, and competitive positioning.
- Prioritize duties and responsibilitiesin order to fulfill objectives.
- Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike.
- Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks.
- Arrive to work on time andmaintain good attendance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant technical field preferred
- 10 or more years of experience in marketing; ideally in clean tech, agriculture, or industrial markets
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
- Experience in employer branding or internal communications
- Excellence in digital marketing platforms, CRM tools, content creation, and analytics
- Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills
- Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Compensation for this role is between $130,000 - $175,000 annually
- This role may qualify for a discretionary bonus, recognizing outstanding contributions to team and company success
- Travel Requirement up to 15% for conferences, leadership alignment, and external partner meetings
- This role is a high-visibility opportunity with potential to grow into a team leadership position as the company scales
- In compliance with state and local pay transparency laws, the expected compensation for this role is shared above. The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role and the final offer will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location. Compensation may be adjusted within this range to reflect regional cost-of-living differences in states where Sedron is hiring.
