A luxury hotel in Rome is searching for a Director of Food & Beverage to elevate its dining experience through exceptional service and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within high-end venues, showcasing strong leadership skills and a passion for wellness in hospitality. They will manage F&B operations across three outlets while collaborating closely with the hotel's executive team.

This 5-star luxury hotel, located in the heart of Rome, offers a refined hospitality experience rooted in sustainability, wellness, and Italian elegance, with exceptional service, contemporary design, and a deep commitment to responsible gastronomy. The hotel is now seeking an accomplished Director of Food & Beverage to lead its F&B operations.
The Director of Food & Beverage will be a key member of the Executive Committee, responsible for overseeing and developing all Food & Beverage operations within the property. With a team of 30+ staff, this individual will lead day-to-day operations, financial performance, and strategic planning for three high-profile outlets. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational excellence, and a clear vision aligned with the hotel’s wellness and sustainability values.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage F&B operations across 3 different outlets Ensure guest experiences reflect the highest standards of luxury, health-consciousness, and sustainability Develop and implement strategies to optimize service, profitability, and guest satisfaction Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development that aligns with wellness and seasonal trends Monitor financial performance, implement cost controls, and manage departmental budgets Recruit, train, and inspire the F&B team, fostering a positive and service-driven culture Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as local and brand regulations Analyze guest feedback and take proactive steps to continuously improve the F&B experience Work closely with the General Manager and Director of Operations to align departmental goals with hotel strategy
Candidate Profile Minimum of 3–5 years in a management-level F&B role within a structured, international hotel brand Previous experience in Italy is preferred, along with familiarity with local market and standards Fluent in Italian and English; additional language skills are an asset Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a hands-on and collaborative approach Proven track record in managing high-end dining outlets and luxury service environments Passionate about sustainability and wellness in hospitality Flexible, detail-oriented, and guest-focused
