About the location:

A rare gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast, this exclusive collection of 156 luxurious beachfront condos and 220-room hotel all within a 125-acre walkable coastal village offers a retreat along Naples’ most treasured beaches. The mixed-use project includes significant dedicated residential amenities and is also integrated with a private club for residents and outside members including golf course, tennis courts and pickleball.

About the role:

The Director of Finance is part of the Hotel Leadership team, making key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel, Residences, and Club. The role involves providing timely and accurate financial information and counsel to hotel senior management and ownership, ensuring operations comply with all policies, procedures, and agreements, and developing the Finance staff for future growth.

What you will do:

• Safeguard hotel assets and financial resources to maximize profitability.
• Network within the community to attract potential candidates and understand the market.
• Assist the General Manager in establishing policies, rules, internal controls, and safeguards.
• Deliver high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and internal control compliance with integrity and accuracy.
• Open bank accounts in consultation with owners, verifying financial strength through reputable rating services where available.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports in accordance with accepted accounting principles.
• Maintain files on all contracts, leases, and agreements, ensuring proper authorization and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all loan covenants and verify the accuracy of long-term debt balances.
• Monitor and manage labor costs in accordance with employment laws.
• Prepare forecasts and budgets as required by corporate and governing documents.

What you bring:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience with Four Seasons or another organization.
• Preferred: 4 years as a hotel/resort Director of Finance.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting roles.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• High professional integrity and organized work habits.
• Commitment to following policies and procedures.
• BSc or BA in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting/Finance preferred.
