What you Bring:

• Relevant Qualification or experience in Accounting, Finance
• Prior experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent
• Experience in Hospitality/Luxury hotels essential
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English
• Effective management, leadership, organization, communication and presentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

· overseeing all sales, purchasing, salaries and expenses

· Implementing and reviewing financial policies

· Audit compliance including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholders

· Production of monthly financial reporting GAAP

· Overseeing budgeting & forecasting process and long term planning

· Monthly and annual reporting

• Responsible for monitoring budgets and for reporting major deviations of over-expenditure, under-budgeting or non-compliance to the approved budget
• Business partner with the General Manager implementing controls, solutions, and action plans
• Assist the General Manager in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls and safeguards that ensure profitability and control of operations
• Advise and provide counsel to the General Manager, HODs and finance teams on all financial matters

Treasury & Tax

• Treasury management, cash planning, reviewing the cash position to optimize the use of funds and minimize the volume of cash being held in the business
• Review all changes of tax laws and accounting policies, assess their implications on the business and ensure the finance team implements appropriate changes
