Planet Pharma, a leading global full-service CRO, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Development to join their team in Torino, Italy.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Proactively identify and evaluate potential business opportunities in Italy.
  2. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular in-person engagement.
  3. Gain a deep understanding of clients’ challenges and structures to create practical account strategies.
  4. Help improve the company’s business development strategy by refining target markets, optimizing sales efficiency, and boosting conversion rates.
  5. Drive revenue growth by consistently surpassing sales targets aligned with company goals.
Main Requirements:
  1. Over 6 years of experience in sales and account management, specifically in full-service CRO sales.
  2. Well-connected with key decision-makers in the life sciences sector.
  3. Skilled in engaging and influencing senior executives and C-suite leaders.
  4. Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing complex deals.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong presentation and persuasion abilities.
  6. Adept at identifying client challenges and delivering swift, strategic solutions.
  7. Highly organized and deadline-oriented, capable of managing multiple sales stages concurrently.
  8. Holds a BA, MBA, or equivalent relevant experience.
