ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Global Head of MSAT and PM, the Director of MSAT and Project Management will be responsible for process development, installation, and validation of new equipment at Recipharm’s sites in Monheim and Zwickau.

This position will be part of the Site Leadership Team.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the "Lead to contract" process with technical feasibility according to global procedures.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and deviation investigations in commercial production, especially related to analytical testing methods or process execution.
  • Collaborate with global MSAT, PM, Quality, and Commercial functions.
  • Manage the local MSAT team of engineers and scientists.
  • Lead interdisciplinary projects across both sites following global project management procedures.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports.
  • Manage project portfolios and align priorities with the Site Leadership Team.
  • Interface with Commercial for offer writing, TT / PD funnel S&OP, and resource planning.
  • Oversee local Project Management teams at both Monheim and Zwickau sites.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Process, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience leading large teams in a matrix organization.
  • Proven experience modeling technical processes.
  • Knowledge of global project management and PMO.
  • Track record in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
  • Understanding of inferential statistics for manufacturing robustness.
  • Familiarity with project management and development methods.

SKILLS

  • Deep understanding of supply chain and production processes.
  • Expertise in SAP system.
  • Advanced IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proactive team player with initiative.

  • Knowledge of pharma requirements, GMP regulations, and compliance.

LOCATION

The role is based at the Zwickau site or possibly the Monheim am Rhein site, with hybrid work options. Some travel may be required.
