Job summary

Sandoz Italy seeks a Head of Corporate Affairs to shape and drive the local master plan, align with global strategy, and influence public policy for generics and biosimilars. The role integrates internal culture, crisis management, and engagement with policy makers, associations and media.

Fluency in Italian and English is required, with a university degree and 10+ years in policy/advocacy. The position is based in Milano with a flexible hybrid, and a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 10 years+ policy, advocacy, external communications and engagement experience with an existing network to support the Italian master plan and strategy.
• Track-record of successful policy development and policy influencing.
• Experience translating corporate and business needs into policy positions and external comms plans.
• Experience working with industry associations and lobbying groups to develop common positions.

Responsibilities

• Shape and lead the Italy corporate affairs master plan aligned with global strategy.
• Navigate political and economic environments to inform policy decisions affecting generic medicines and biosimilars.
• Act as local counsel for communications and engagement for Sandoz Italy.
• Drive local media relations and public affairs activities, events and crises management.
• Collaborate with country leadership to align business strategy with external policy and stakeholder needs.
