Job Description

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Director BPO Data Management located in either Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; Zug, CH; Schaffhausen, CH; Leiden, NL; Cork, IE; Latina, IT or Beerse, BE.

As we build out our Data Strategy and Operations organization as part of our Value Chain Management in the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain, we are creating this role as part of our Data Strategy and Operations Leadership Team. The Director BPO Data Management will support the Transcend Innovative Medicine Program, a multi-year global business transformation initiative to modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our ecosystem of 7+ major global PHARM ERP systems, standardizing core business processes across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Quality, and Data, and enabling our data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance.

The Director BPO Data Management will serve as the Global Business Process Owner, driving the product vision and strategy for E2E data, ensuring alignment on data processes, and guiding the business to maintain clean core and data. Responsibilities include standardizing operational processes, advocating for the vision of clean data, and mitigating challenges during implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Value Identification and Capture for Data Management and E2E Data
  • Drive process standardization within the S4 template, considering needs of data owners and consumers
  • Identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and improvement in Data Management
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements for E2E data
  • Drive Impact Assessments and define mitigation strategies for the digital ecosystem involving SAP ECC and S4/Hana
  • Ensure operational readiness for clean data post-transcend releases
  • Resolve data management complexities during SAP ECC and S4/Hana coexistence
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in data management, data science, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master’s preferred
Required Skills
  • 8+ years leading multi-year strategy or technology deployment with a focus on data capabilities
  • 5+ years in a global pharmaceutical supply chain environment
  • Experience with ERP transitions and transformations
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art data technologies and their relation to SAP ecosystem
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Experience establishing federated data governance models
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts effectively
Preferred Skills
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, GDPR)
  • Knowledge of industry standards in pharmaceutical data management
  • Project Management Certification
