Digital Marketing and Communication Specialist

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Digital Marketing and Communication Specialist with previous experience in the marketing field and with an international mindset to join our BES team in Milan.

The ideal profile will be committed to the mission and vision of the school and develop in first person the marketing and communication plan.

Main Responsibility and Accountability Areas

1. Develop the yearly Marketing and Communications plan, in conjunction with Head of Marketing & Admissions, Italy and Head of School;
2. Manage the institutional website, media and influencer relations;
3. Draft editorial content for both offline and online communications;
4. Coordinate the development of BES marketing materials;
5. Attend, and in some cases co-host, BES branding, Public relations, Globeducate days and admissions events;
6. Open days, Social events, end of term, graduation events and any other school public event;
7. Globeducate days (Outdoor Education, etc);
8. Manage institutional, media and influencer relations;
9. Oversee social media strategy and execution, in conjunction with appointed teaching staff;
10. Plan and oversee email marketing campaigns, in conjunction with marketing and admissions events and any other school event;
11. Liaise with web marketing agency, analyse reports and monitor KPIs;
12. When needed, support Admissions with informational meetings or school tours with prospective families.

Requirements

1. High Proficiency in English: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
2. Proven experience in the marketing field;
3. Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field;
4. Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism;
5. Experience working in international markets and a global mindset;
6. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure precision in all tasks;
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment;
8. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
