Digital Marketing and Communication Specialist

The Opportunity

Our client school in Milan is seeking a qualified and experienced Digital Marketing and Communication Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in marketing, excellent communication skills in English, and an international mindset. This role is ideal for a dynamic, creative professional who is committed to the mission and vision of the school and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the annual Marketing and Communications plan in collaboration with the Head of Marketing & Admissions and the Head of School

  • Manage the institutional website, media relations, and influencer outreach

  • Draft editorial content for online and offline communications

  • Coordinate the creation and production of school marketing materials

  • Attend and co-host branding, public relations, admissions, and community events

  • Plan and execute campaigns for open days, graduation, end-of-term, and other key school events

  • Manage and execute social media strategy alongside designated staff

  • Plan and monitor email marketing campaigns to support events and outreach

  • Liaise with web marketing agencies, analyse performance reports, and monitor KPIs

  • Represent the school at Globeducate events (e.g., Outdoor Education days)

  • Support admissions when needed with school tours or informational meetings

Requirements
  • High level of proficiency in English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • University degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

  • Demonstrated success in marketing roles, preferably within international or educational contexts

  • Experience working with international audiences and a strong global perspective

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism at all times

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills
