A leading consultancy seeks a freelance MES integration consultant. The role involves overseeing technical guidance for MES implementation, coordinating with various engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with cGMP standards. Candidates based in Italy who are fluent in Italian are preferred. The contract runs from July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

Remote opening, but preference for candidates in Italy who speak Italian.

Duration: July 1 through December 31, 2025.

This is a freelance consulting position, paid in US dollars.

• Collaborate closely with the site team responsible for manufacturing equipment to provide technical guidance and support in integrating equipment for Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

• Responsible for the MES integration pack, roadmap, and deliverables. Coordinate with site engineering leads and automation engineers.

• Must have strong experience with MES & Automation systems.

• Facilitate and participate in regular Agile planning sessions for MES integration.

• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to MES integration.

• Manage activities related to URS/FRS generation, software configuration/coding, and oversee MES software documentation practices.

• Must have a thorough understanding of system cGMP requirements and demonstrable knowledge of computer system design and maintenance lifecycle in cGMP environments.

• Coordinate with MES platform providers, engineering contractors, and equipment vendors on document preparation, approval, coding, and delivery processes.
