A consultancy opportunity for a freelance consultant, remote but preferably located in Italy. The candidate will provide expertise in integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for a client in the manufacturing sector, with a strong focus on automation and adherence to cGMP standards.

Competenze

Job Description:

REMOTE opening but prefer someone in Italy who speaks Italian

Length: -- July 1 through Dec. 31, 2025

This is a FREELANCE Consulting opening and you would be paid in US dollars

• Work closely with the site team responsible for manufacturing equipment to provide technical guidance and support in the integration of equipment for Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

• Responsible for the MES integration pack, roadmap, and deliverables. Liaise with site engineering leads and automation engineers.

• Strong experience with MES & Automation systems.

• Facilitate and continue regular Agile planning for MES integration.

• Analyze and solve technical issues related to MES integration.

• Manage activities of URS/FRS generation, software configuration/coding, and oversee MES software documentation practices.

• A thorough understanding of system cGMP requirements and demonstrable knowledge of computer system design and maintenance lifecycle in cGMP environments.

• Liaise where necessary with MES platform providers, engineering contractors, and equipment vendors on document preparation, approval, coding, and delivery lifecycle.
