A leading company in the manufacturing equipment sector is seeking a freelance consultant for MES integration. This remote position requires extensive experience with MES and automation systems, along with a deep understanding of cGMP requirements. Candidates need to collaborate with engineering teams and communicate effectively with vendors while managing the integration roadmap until the end of 2025.

Descrizione del lavoro

Remote opening, preferably for candidates in Italy who speak Italian.

Duration: July 1 to December 31, 2025.

This is a freelance consulting position paid in US dollars.

• Collaborate with the site team responsible for manufacturing equipment to provide technical guidance and support for the integration of equipment into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

• Manage the MES integration package, roadmap, and deliverables. Coordinate with site engineering leads and automation engineers.

• Extensive experience with MES & Automation systems is required.

• Facilitate and participate in regular Agile planning sessions for MES integration.

• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to MES integration.

• Oversee activities related to URS/FRS generation, software configuration, coding, and ensure proper documentation practices for MES software.

• Deep understanding of cGMP system requirements and knowledge of the lifecycle of computer system design and maintenance in cGMP environments is essential.

• Communicate with MES platform providers, engineering contractors, and equipment vendors regarding document preparation, approval, coding, and delivery processes.
