A leading consultancy firm is seeking experts for a digital infrastructure project in Rome. Candidates should have at least 7 years of relevant experience in digital infrastructure, including a strong background in planning/design, deployment, and operation. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in French is advantageous. The project duration will be 48 months starting October 2025.

Competenze

• Fluency in English, knowledge of French is a plus.
• 7+ years experience in digital infrastructure.
• Experience in planning/design and operation.

Conoscenze

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Global Gateway private sector digital infrastructure project delivery advisory services and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is to provide digital infrastructure promoters comprehensive advisory services to secure and deploy financing from EIB and co-financers for projects contributing to the EC’s Global Gateway.

Duration: The intended start date is October 2025, and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date.

️ Qualifications and skills:

• University degree in Engineering or equivalent. Telecommunication, Civil Engineering or computer science would be an advantage;
• Fluency in oral and written English;
• Working knowledge of French will be considered as an asset.
• At least 7 years of experience in digital infrastructure in one or more of the following functional areas: planning/design, deployment, supervision of the deployment, optimisation, assessment, operation and maintenance or presales engineering either as an employee of an operator or consultant/contractor/supplier.
• At least 2 years of experience in digital infrastructure in Africa;
• At least 1 year of the presented experience should be in the mentioned functional areas for mobile network projects;
• Experience in long distance transmission, including terrestrial and/or submarine will be considered an advantage;
• Experience in FTTH and/or datacentres will be considered an advantage.
