Job Opportunity: Digital IC Architect

This is a superb opportunity for a Digital IC Architect to join a world-leading semiconductor company based in Milan.

In this role, the Digital IC Architect will work as part of a small, collaborative architecture team that is critical within the business. The team focuses on Advanced Memory Systems for data centres and collaborates with some of the world's largest and most reputable customers.

The Digital IC Architect will develop future memory controller architectures, define and implement complex system requirements for customers, and analyze existing systems. The role also involves designing and optimizing digital ICs using SystemC with High Level Synthesis, an area of expertise the company plans to expand in Milan.

Suitable candidates will have:

1. A Masters / PhD in Electronic Engineering or a similar field
2. A solid background in Digital ASIC / FPGA Design, with knowledge of the complete digital design flow
3. Expertise in Verilog, C/C++, or Python
4. Experience with SystemC and knowledge of high-level synthesis
5. A good understanding of digital chip architecture
6. Excellent communication skills in English

Language skills in Italian are not required, as English is the main language spoken in the team.
