The “H-FARM Summer Academy” summer project offers a chance for children and youth aged 5 to 19 to have an immersive experience in digital and sports topics in English at Europe's most innovative campus.

We are seeking passionate individuals in education and training to fill the role of Digital Educator / Tech Mentor for the 2025 edition.

Qualifications and Skills

• Technical skills related to technology and digital fields, capable of inspiring and guiding participants through innovative and engaging activities.

Work Details

• Hours and Location: From June 16 to August 8, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at H-FARM Campus in Ca' Tron di Roncade (TV).

Responsibilities

• Support and lead participants during creative and digital learning activities in the workshop.
• Deliver activities in English.
• Master workshop topics, demonstrating in-depth skills and the ability to convey knowledge clearly and engagingly, adapting content to participants' diverse needs.
• Supervise and accompany participants during weekly educational outings.
• Coordinate and collaborate with staff.
• Attend training meetings and prepare activities using digital tools.
• Work autonomously to reach the work location.

Minimum Requirements

• Hard Skills: Excellent command of English (C1-C2), skills in STEAM areas, programming (mBlock, MakeCode, Scratch, Lua, C#), robotics (Lego Spike, mBot, Sphero Bolt, iRoot), video games (Minecraft Education, Roblox Studio, Unity), electronics (micro:bit, Makey Makey, Arduino), VR/AR/AI (Unity, Adobe FireFly), digital storytelling, graphic design, videomaking (iMovie, Clips, Stop Motion, Garageband, Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Soft Skills: Interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork, empathy, leadership, creativity, computational and critical thinking, willingness to learn and challenge oneself.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CoderDojo, FabLab, Makerspace, after-school programs, or PNRR initiatives.
• Residence in nearby areas.
• First aid certification.
