Intesa Sanpaolo Group in Milan is seeking a senior product leader for Digital Asset Custody and tokenization within Global Transaction Banking. You will shape product strategy, drive cross-functional initiatives, and coordinate with business, technology, legal, and compliance to deliver scalable digital asset solutions for clients.

You will oversee governance and lifecycle activities, analyze regulatory developments, and engage with industry groups to advance market practices.

Competenze

• More than 5 years of experience in product and project management roles.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain technologies, crypto-assets, digital asset ecosystems and related market participants.
• Knowledge of the financial instruments lifecycle and DLT-based issuance and post-trade processes.
• Product and Project Management methodologies for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of Digital Asset Custody, tokenization services and financial market infrastructures.
• Understanding of MiCAR, CSDR, DLT Pilot Regime and related financial services regulations.
• Ability to work within regulated environments with Compliance, Risk Management and Anti-Financial Crime.
• English proficiency at level C1 or above.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, CS or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Plus: knowledge of post-trade services, payment products, trade finance processes and involvement in transformation programs.

• Lead the development of tokenization and Registrar services for on-DSLT platforms.
• Manage product lifecycle activities, including value proposition, business cases, operating model and requirements.

Overview

You will join the Financial Institutions Products team within Global Transaction Banking, where you will contribute to the development and growth of innovative Digital Asset services. You will be responsible for shaping product strategy and leading strategic initiatives related to Digital Asset Custody, tokenization, and DLT-based financial market infrastructures. Working in a highly regulated and rapidly evolving environment, you will collaborate with business, technology, legal, compliance, and external stakeholders to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions for internal and external clients.

What you'll be doing

Key responsabilities will be:

• Define and drive the strategy and evolution of the Group's Digital Asset Custody services, ensuring operational scalability and long-term sustainability.
• Lead the development of tokenization and Registrar services for the issuance of financial instruments on Distributed Ledger Technology platforms.
• Manage product lifecycle activities, including value proposition definition, business case development, operating model design, business requirements collection and contractual framework support.
• Coordinate complex project initiatives, overseeing execution, IT solution validation, risk monitoring, budget management, vendor assessment and outsourcing activities.
• Support client-facing teams during business development discussions and onboarding activities related to Digital Asset services.
• Participate in industry working groups and banking associations at national and international level, contributing to the evolution of market practices and standards.
• Analyze regulatory developments including MiCAR, DLT Pilot Regime, CSDR and Fintech regulations, assessing their impact on products, processes and operating models.

Who we are looking for

• Product Management and Project Management methodologies applied to complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of Digital Asset Custody, tokenization services and financial market infrastructures.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks including MiCAR, CSDR, DLT Pilot Regime and related financial services regulations.
• Ability to work within regulated environments and interact with Compliance, Risk Management and Anti-Financial Crime functions.
• English language proficiency at level C1 or above.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Plus: knowledge of post-trade services, payment products, trade finance processes and previous involvement in complex transformation or innovation programs.

Preferred consideration will be given to candidates who have gained significant international professional or academic experience through studies undertaken abroad or at internationally recognized educational institutions.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary starting from €65,000
