Job Description:

Are you passionate about ensuring websites and applications are accessible to users utilizing assistive technologies? Do you have knowledge of WCAG 2.0/2.1, Section 508, and other accessibility standards? If you enjoy collaborating with Developers and QA Engineers on accessibility standards and best practices, this might be the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on accessibility, WCAG guidelines, and code-level remediation for junior team members; conduct regular audit reviews to ensure compliance
• Prepare, conduct, and report on user reviews and WCAG audits
• Act as an educational resource for product teams, including conducting office hours
• Identify quality issues proactively and develop training programs tailored to teams or individuals
• Train new team members on accessibility testing for desktop and mobile devices
• Manage multiple projects with different clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience as an Accessibility specialist
• Deep technical knowledge of accessibility, including code remediation and developer discussions
• Experience with assistive technologies and WCAG checkpoints
• Consulting agency experience and strong client-facing skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
• Ability to multitask and manage concurrent activities
• Comfortable working collaboratively across organizational levels in a matrix environment
