Miller Transportation Group is looking for a Diesel Mechanic Technician to join its Miller Truck Leasing division in Florence, NJ. This role involves performing routine maintenance on Class 1–8 vehicles, diagnosing engine faults, and repairing essential components like brakes and transmissions.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a fleet mechanic or in a similar field and must be available Monday to Friday evenings. The position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Competenze

• Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1–7 diesel tractors.
• Available to work Monday–Friday from 3:00 PM until 11:30 PM.

Mansioni

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1–8 vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes using company-supplied OEM software.
• Repair or replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments.
