A leading Italian fashion brand is seeking a Junior Sourcing Specialist to join their Sourcing Team. This role involves handling scouting, pricing analysis, and negotiations with suppliers. Candidates should have a degree in Economics, at least one year of experience with European and Asian suppliers, and be fluent in English. This temporary contract is expected to start at the end of September or beginning of October.

We are looking for a Junior Sourcing Specialist to join Dolce & Gabbana Beauty in the Sourcing Team.

The Resource will be responsible for handling scouting, pricing analysis, sampling, and negotiation for their own category suppliers’ portfolio. They will support negotiations to secure the best purchasing conditions for new launch strategies across all distribution markets worldwide. The category includes non-cosmetic items such as GWP (gift with purchase), sellable accessories, and possibly other categories.

In particular, the new Resource will:

  1. Monitor the reference market to scout for new potential supply sources and lead their evaluation and onboarding process.
  2. Lead tenders for launching new products with involved suppliers, aligning with Marketing and Go-To-Market plans.
  3. Negotiate conditions related to innovation, timing, and pricing with suppliers.
  4. Maintain a balanced category portfolio by assessing production capacities and supplier potentials to involve the best partners for each project.
  5. Prioritize tasks, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and monitor supply chain timing to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience dealing with European and Asian suppliers.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptable to change.

Other Information:

  • Temporary Contract (Maternity Leave substitution).
