A technology company in Saronno, Italy, is looking for a skilled Test Engineer to develop and execute automated tests in support of the embedded software development process. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Python, Agile testing methodologies, and experience with CI tools like Jenkins are essential. Strong communication skills in English are also required to collaborate with the development team.

Competenze

• 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in embedded software testing is a plus.

Responsibility

Development and execution of automated tests in parallel with the embedded software development:

• Cooperate with the developers to improve testability of newly developed software.
• Validate the features against the requirements.
• Support continuous integration by automating test cases.
• Perform manual testing where applicable.
• Creating test plans, writing test cases
• Closure of testing by providing test reports

Skills and experience:

• Bachelor or Master degree (experience in embedded software testing is a plus)
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience with or knowledge of version control systems, such as SVN or GIT
• Knowledge of Agile testing, Python, automated testing, writing tests and doing measurements
• Good communication skills in English is a must
• robot framework and Pytest
• Atlassian tools (JIRA for bug tracking / Confluence for documentation)
• experience with CI platform (Jenkins)
