Within SM.I.LE80 engineering organization, we are looking for a DevOps engineer who can actively contribute to the evolution of our product infrastructure and deployment architecture, SDLC automation, and support. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize the CI/CD pipeline
• Develop infrastructure for managing and monitoring software deployment
• Design, develop, and administer our cloud-based offerings
• Support internal teams and customers with troubleshooting and critical issue resolution

Requirements

Technical

• Master's Degree in software/computer science engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps/IT and software automation
• Experience with Windows Server & Linux systems administration, including clustering
• Experience with Relational Databases/SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with virtualization systems like VMware vSphere
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with automation servers (Azure DevOps/Jenkins) and YAML pipelines
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt)
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with distributed applications, microservices, message brokers, REST APIs, load balancing
• Experience with performance testing and profiling techniques

Non-Technical

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Customer issue handling experience
• Experience providing technical support for deployments and troubleshooting

Other Qualifications

• Experience in industrial automation, telco, or mission-critical software (preferred)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity aspects
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, NewRelic, Prometheus)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Experience with Git and Git-flow
