Cubbit S.r.l. is seeking a skilled DevOps engineer who will manage infrastructure using Terraform and enhance cloud services. Remote work is encouraged, with the option to utilize co-working spaces globally or work from headquarters in Bologna, Italy. Ideal candidates will understand Kubernetes deeply and have a strong sense of team collaboration.

Cubbit works as a distributed data center, where a swarm of individual devices, orchestrated by a coordinator super-node, cooperate to virtualize a cloud storage service.

As often happens in distributed systems, a big challenge is to gather data on usage and performance in order to monitor and improve the experience of users, as well as optimize resources in the swarm.

Our team adheres to the CAMS (Culture, Automation, Measurement, and Sharing) model, ensuring a robust and efficient DevOps practice. We follow the principles of DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) and KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) to maintain clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Must Have

• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and operations
• Acquaintance with Kubernetes Operators
• Familiarity with Helm
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies
• Experience with CI / CD tools and processes
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Pulumi
• Scripting and automation skills
• Proficiency in Golang
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management
