Cubbit S.r.l. is seeking a DevOps professional to optimize and enhance our cloud services. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies like Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices in a collaborative environment. Remote work is fully supported, and candidates can choose to work from our co-working spaces worldwide or from our Bologna headquarters.

Cubbit works as a distributed data center, where a swarm of individual devices, orchestrated by a coordinator super-node, cooperate to virtualize a cloud storage service.

As often happens in distributed systems, a big challenge is to gather data on usage and performance in order to monitor and improve the experience of users, as well as optimize resources in the swarm.

Our team adheres to the CAMS (Culture, Automation, Measurement, and Sharing) model, ensuring a robust and efficient DevOps practice. We follow the principles of DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) and KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) to maintain clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Must Have

• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and operations
• Acquaintance with Kubernetes Operators
• Familiarity with Helm
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies
• Experience with CI / CD tools and processes
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Pulumi
• Scripting and automation skills
• Proficiency in Golang
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management
