Job summary

Vector Synergy in Napoli is seeking a senior SharePoint administrator with a strong background in SQL Server, Active Directory, and identity services. The role focuses on building and maintaining SharePoint farms with high availability, federated services, and robust content/topology management, plus workforce of profile synchronization and service applications.

Responsibilities include configuring User Profile Services, front-end and back-end identity integration, and deploying Office Online

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with MS SQL Server databases, certs, performance tuning, capacity and storage management, and high-availability clustering (Always-On, SQL Cluster).
• At least 5 years of experience in Active Directory, Kerberos, claims-based authentication, ADFS, conditional access, SSO, certificate services and PKI, and RBAC.
• At least 5 years of experience in the User Profile Service Application and profile synchronization with AD/LDAP and other identity sources.
• Virtualization and cloud training/certifications (e.g. VMware).
• Server and security training/certifications.

• Setting up and configuring SharePoint farms, including high availability and redundancy, multiple and federated services, search and content farm topologies, farm-to-farm services and the web-application tier (IIS sites, application pools, certificates and bindings).
• Configuring User Profile Services, including profile synchronization from identity sources (AD, LDAP, etc.) at front-end and back-end services;
• Deploying farm-level service applications, including Office Online Servers and workflow engines.
