A leading technology firm in Italy is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to develop and support cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations and deploy platforms while working with Agile principles. Responsibilities include developing pipelines for R&D and maintaining a centralised portal for tracking systems. Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure is essential, along with experience in automation tools like Ansible or Jenkins.

Overview

Infovista is looking to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong experience of DevOps and Agile principles. The successful candidate will work within our IT team to ensure the smooth running, development and deployment of our platforms for customers and internal teams.

As an Infovista DevOps Engineer you will be responsible to develop, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure, working on code artifacts or modules in addition to the install and maintenance of underlying infrastructure (upgrade/patch).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure to run pipelines for R&D, by creating components/artifacts, tracking, testing and deploying.
• Security screening for artifacts created by checking against a database of known issues. Working knowledge with integration of security scanning in DevOps.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining the Infovista centralised portal containing a database to track systems creations, deployments and upgrades/patches.
• Develop and create pipelines for the platform development team and provide ready-to-use workflows for each program language.
• Support end-to-end testing by our QA team. The DevOps Engineer ensures that changes in components/artifacts which create a new workflow are tested and passed. The team runs 30 to 50 automated tests per day; these tests are created and deleted on a daily basis.

• Design and support resiliency and scalability using AWS and other cloud platforms.
• Support the team and customers with day-to-day requests, and change/incident tickets.
• Support and deliver using continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
